Philip Osteen

Philip Osteen is a researcher at ARL’s Vehicle Technology Directorate, focusing on developing perception and intelligence algorithms for improved autonomy. He previously worked at the Robotics, Vision, and Control Group at the University of Seville and then at ARL’s Autonomous Systems Division. He has published works relating to enabling intelligent systems— temporal world modeling, egomotion estimation, 3-D segmentation, and multisensor calibration for data fusion. Mr. Osteen received his master’s degree from the University of Florida, where he participated in the 2007 DARPA Urban Challenge.
