What are the current and developmental mine countermeasures (MCM) and automatic target recognition (ATR) technologies capable of accurately detecting and identifying smaller objects while rejecting clutter including decoys?

DSIAC subject matter experts (SMEs) from the Georgia Tech Research Institute involved in Naval MCM development efforts provided a brief discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of current and developmental imaging and non-imaging technologies employed by the U.S. Naval enterprise for MCM.  As most of the information on this topic is highly sensitive, the inquirer was provided with a list of contacts within the Naval Surface Warfare Center and GTRI who could directly provide additional information on current U.S. Naval programs and developmental MCM technologies.
