Overview

The 2022 Joint Aircraft Survivability Program (JASP) Model Users Meeting (JMUM) will take place March 21–25, 2022 at Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) Conference Center, 250 14th Street NW, Atlanta, GA, 30318. The purpose of this recurring meeting is to provide model users, managers, stakeholders, and other interested individuals with information about the latest developments and updates associated with JASP-sponsored models and other models used throughout the aircraft survivability technical community. Please note, new this year will be the addition of a breakout session dedicated to aircraft cyber survivability modeling and simulation (M&S). Thus, the plan is to divide the plenary session into two parts – an afternoon session on Monday, March 21, and a morning session on Tuesday, March 22.  The air-to-air, surface-to-air, and vulnerability/lethality breakout sessions will start Tuesday afternoon and all day on Wednesday, March 23.  Thursday, March 24, and Friday morning, March 25, will be dedicated to aircraft cyber survivability M&S.

Attendees will be briefed on the latest software developments, upgrades, and threat model updates in a DoD-classified environment. The meeting will consist of a plenary session and two or more days of concurrent group breakouts for the vulnerability, air-to-air, surface-to-air, and cyber groups to also include the complex multidomain environments of future combat. As necessary, Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings will be held for COVART, Brawler, SLATE, BlueMax, RPG Engagement Model, Next-Generation Fire Model, and MAESTRO (Machine Assisted Exploitability Simulation and Testing for Resilient Operations).

JMUM attendees are encouraged to share insights and lessons learned from the practical use of aircraft survivability models in their respective user group breakouts.  (Refer to the agenda tab for the daily schedule.)  If you are a presenter, please send your unclassified briefing to Alfred Yee at alfred.yee@dsiac.org.  If you have a classified briefing(s), please SIPR them to alfred.q.yee.ctr@mail.smil.mil.

If you are interested in presenting at the JMUM or have any questions, please contact Alfred Yee, DSIAC, at 937-255-4608 or alfred.yee@dsiac.org or Rodney Stewart, SURVICE Engineering, at 937-431-9914 or rodney.stewart@survice.com
