This three-day short course in aircraft combat survivability is designed to provide an overview of the aircraft combat survivability discipline. The course is intended for U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), active-duty military, and government contractors who need to better understand how to increase the survivability and combat effectiveness of air platforms in manned and unmanned systems. Many students typically work in aircraft survivability fields, such as susceptibility reduction and vulnerability reduction, survivability modeling and simulation, operational and live-fire testing, and systems engineering. However, the course will also greatly benefit personnel working program management and acquisition of DoD aircraft as well as military pilots and personnel in aviation commands.
This free course, funded by JASP and DOT&E, has no registration cost.
