Matthew L. Fotia is a senior aerospace research engineer at the Combustion Branch of the Turbine Engine Division within the Aerospace Systems Directorate of AFRL, where he leads in-house ramjet engine development activities focused on integrating rotating detonating engine technology into high-speed systems. Dr. Fotia’s role as a subject matter expert in high-speed propulsion and detonative combustion processes supports various external research programs.
