Zhenhua Jiang is a principal research engineer at the University of Dayton Research Institute. His research interests include machine learning, autonomy, predictive analytics and control, microgrids, probabilistic modeling, and quantum computing. He has developed a data-driven, physics-guided Bayesian neural learning method that is well suited to modeling, control and optimization of various energy systems, autonomous air/space/ground/underwater vehicles, and quantum systems. He has over 100 publications and several patents on subjects such as distribution automation, model predictive control, probabilistic decision engine, and quantum probabilistic solvers. He holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of South Carolina.
