The U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) Survivability/Lethality Analysis Directorate’s (SLAD’s) new VSL is a next-generation, high-performance, and extensible computing framework (and vulnerability assessment simulation) designed to leverage current and next-generation heterogeneous computing architectures. DSIAC supported SLAD’s efforts to research and develop vulnerability analysis methodologies and analytical approaches and helped integrate new methodologies into the new VSL framework. DSIAC helped develop, release, deploy, and complete maintenance of the VSL v3.0 and subsequent v3.x updates. DSIAC also investigated, developed, and enhanced advanced GPU-accelerated methodologies to bring improved analytical fidelity in specified domains.
