The goal for this effort was to characterize damage effects to tires of wheeled combat vehicles operating in a littoral environment, which contributed to the progress of U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) goals related to evaluating and developing of vulnerability-reduction design features. DSIAC provided test, evaluation, and analysis for characterizing tire response in a littoral threat environment; provided an Event Design Plan to the Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) to support the development of a Detailed Test Plan and Test Instrumentation Plan; conducted post-test data analysis based on the test results; and developed key information to benefit of Joint Services and stakeholders.
