ADELPHI, Md. — Throughout time, seismic sensing – biological as well as technology-based – have aided warfighters in making critical decisions in combat. Inspired by elephants’ unique seismic sense, U.S. Army researchers are now working on a new and more efficient sensor for today’s multi-domain battlespace.
