Electromagnetic Shielding With Composite Materials

Military and commercial vehicles operate in varied electromagnetic (EM) environments, which affect their onboard electrical/electronic systems.  Lightning, electromagnetic pulse (EMP), and high-power microwave energy can cause detrimental effects. Although circuit architecture is used to mitigate some of these effects, a sure way is to place the sensitive electronics within a “Faraday cage.” Traditional methods rely…

SME in Electromagnetic (EM) Weapons

Dr Andrew S. Podgorski serves as the SME in the area of electromagnetic (EM), weapons, composite protection against all EM threats and standards. His research conducted at ASR Technologies Inc. supported NATO, US Navy, US Air Force, US Strategic Defense and resulted in receiving 15 US and 20 World Patents. Two latest US Patents describe Space-Time and Pulse-Driven (STPD) arrays, that increase radiated microwave power by 20-times to Tera-Watts. Increased power reduces 30-times currently required energy for destruction of targets.
