How do various CAS/light attack aircraft compare to each other?
DSIAC was asked to compare the specifications of a variety of light attack aircraft, including the A-29 Super Tucano, AT-6 Wolverine, Textron AirLand Scorpion, AHRLAC Holdings Advanced High Performance Reconnaissance Light Aircraft (AHRLAC), Bronco Combat Systems Bronco II, Air Tractor AT-802U, and Scaled Composites Agile Responsive Effective Support aircraft. Desired comparison specifications encompassed aircraft measurements, weight, range, g-load, speed, payload, hardpoints, and costs. DSIAC also included aircraft and their systems’ descriptions, production statuses, users, cockpit, training capabilities, and other relevant information. This information was compiled from open sources, original equipment manufacturer sites, and the DTIC Research & Engineering Gateway.
