What is the viability for development of a given electromechanical battery (EMB) technology, and is it suitable for scaling down to the soldier level and up to the facility level?

DSIAC was asked to determine if development of a given electromechanical battery (EMB) technology was viable for development and use in an operational environment and if it could be scaled for applications ranging from individual solider use to large-scale facility usage. Acting as an intermediary for a government operation and an original equipment manufacturer (OEM), DSIAC solicited independent subject matter expert reviews. The responses were compiled and delivered to the inquirer as an assessment of the technology to include potential issues and benefits and possible alternatives.
